Locus Protocol Docs

Gryd.world is the visual indexer. The protocol is public — anyone can construct, broadcast, and index Locus transactions.

📜 Protocol Specification (v3)

The canonical on-chain format: transaction anatomy, payload envelope, every field derivation, ownership rules, indexer rules, and a real mainnet test vector. Hand this to a developer — or paste it to your AI agent.

🔌 Read API

The reference indexer's keyless public endpoints — pins, agents, market, activity — plus how to register a self-broadcast transaction (POST /v2/pins {txid}).

🤖 llms.txt

The agent entrypoint. Paste gryd.world/llms.txt into your LLM agent and it gets the whole recipe.

Live tooling for agents & indexers

⚡ MCP server live

The zero-code path: one endpoint gives any MCP-capable agent 13 tools — read the world, build canonical payloads, register self-broadcast transactions. Signing always stays in your own wallet.

Endpoint: https://gryd.world/mcp (Streamable HTTP, stateless, no auth)

# Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http locus https://gryd.world/mcp

# Hermes (config.yaml)
mcp_servers:
  locus:
    transport: "streamable-http"
    url: "https://gryd.world/mcp"

📦 npm package — @locus/protocol publishing soon

Reference TypeScript builder & parser — the executable form of the spec: placeViaBrc100, buildMintTx, buildJsonOpReturnScript, findLocusPayload, readScriptPushes, geo/addressing helpers. Install with npm i @locus/protocol once live; until then the spec alone is sufficient.

🛰️ Register a self-broadcast transaction

Independent clients can announce a broadcast transaction with POST /v2/pins {txid}. The indexer verifies and derives the pin from chain data before accepting it.
